Future Play in Restaurants
Keeping kids entertained in restaurants by getting them to express themselves digitally.
When given the challenge by Robinsons to get kids to express themselves digitally using their products, we jumped at the opportunity. We looked a little deeper at how Robinsons hoped to increase product distribution and saw a genuine opportunity to link product sales to digital gamification.
We noticed a space where parents need to keep kids entertained between turning up at a restaurant and actually getting fed. Augmented Reality offered us a medium that immerses kids in a gamified experience whilst keeping them routed in the real world. It also meant that we could have multiple people interacting with the same experience simultaneously.
Rolled out across 2000 stores nationwide, we hope we made it just a little easier for parents all across the UK!
